Metta reinstated former US President Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts after 2 years.
Meta spokesperson Andy Stone has confirmed that Donald Trump’s accounts have been reinstated.
The former US president’s social media accounts were suspended in January 2021 after the attack on Capitol Hill.
Last month, Meta announced that the ban on former US President Donald Trump’s accounts would soon be lifted.
Meta said in his statement that if the former president violates his policies, his accounts will be suspended again.
It should be noted that Donald Trump has announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election, reviving his social media accounts will give him access to voters and political fundraising.
Donald Trump had 23 million followers on Instagram and 34 million on Facebook as of January 2021.
