Islamabad: On the intervention of the Chief Justice, the Lahore High Court withdrew the letter written to the PCB about the free passes of the Pakistan Super League for the judges and their families.
According to the sources, the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court met the Chief Justice of Pakistan in the Supreme Court, the meeting of both the Chief Justices continued for one and a half hours, in which various constitutional and legal issues were discussed.
According to the sources, on the intervention of the Chief Justice, the Registrar Lahore High Court withdrew the letter of free PSL passes for the judges and their families to the PCB.
It may be noted that the Registrar Lahore High Court wrote a letter for PSL passes and Chairman Box and asked for 30 VVIP passes for judges and their families for the opening ceremony of PSL 8.
The Registrar Lahore High Court had also directed to issue 25 VVIP passes for every PSL match in Multan. The registrar Lahore High Court was also directed to issue chairman box and red vehicle stickers.
