Dera Bugti: One Levies officer was martyred and three were injured by firing on the returning officer’s convoy.
According to Levies sources, unknown persons opened fire on the convoy of Returning Officer Saparagh, as a result of which one Levies officer was martyred and three were injured.
The dead officials and the injured have been shifted to the hospital immediately.
After the incident, a heavy contingent of Levies and FC reached the spot and started investigation, so far no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
It may be recalled that votes were cast in various union councils in connection with local body elections in Dera Bugti today.
