Lahore: The stepfather tortured and killed the 4-year-old child, the police arrested the accused and registered a case.
According to Express News, a 4-year-old child was killed by a stepfather in Shirankot, Lahore. The police have arrested the accused after registering an FIR.
The police say that the accused Usman killed the baby Chand Ali and the body was taken to Pakpattan. After receiving the information, the police took action and shifted the body to Lake Lahore.
Police say that further investigation of the accused is going on while the body has been sent to the mortuary for postmortem. Usman was married to the mother of deceased Chand 20 days ago.
Police say that the accused Usman Kamsan used to torture Chand and her sisters. The previous day also he was torturing the children that Chand could not bear it and died.
Meanwhile, Chairperson Child Protection Bureau Sara Ahmed has taken notice of the incident and demanded immediate action from CCPO Lahore. Sara Ahmed said that the death of a 4-year-old child due to the violence of her stepfather is tragic.
