Indian authorities demand an investigation into the controversial scene of the Hollywood film 'Oppenheimer'

Mumbai: Indian authorities have demanded an investigation into the controversial scene in the Hollywood film ‘Oppenheimer’.

A number of Hindu fans on social media criticized the film for reciting their religion’s holy book ‘Gita’ during indecent scenes in the film.

Uday Prakash, leader of the Culture Save India Foundation, has reacted to the film’s desecration of the Hindu holy book, demanding that the Censor Board investigate the approval of the controversial scene.

‘Oppenheimer’ is a film based on the life of an atomic scientist who developed a nuclear bomb and with this film Christopher Nolan has received an R rating for the first time in 20 years.

According to Christopher Nolan, the film needed sex scenes to illustrate the nature of Oppenheimer’s life and personal relationships.

Film fans in India have called for a boycott of the film, calling it insulting to read ‘Gita’ during sex scenes.
