Suspicious person tried to enter empty mosque, blew himself up when Additional SHO stopped him, IGKP
Jamrud: A terrorist hiding in a mosque in Jamrud area of Khyber district blew himself up due to the fear of arrest due to which additional SHO was also martyred.
According to Express News, after an alert was issued by secret agencies, the police of Khyber district were informed about the presence of two terrorists in the mosque under construction.
The police took timely action and tried to arrest the terrorists in the mosque, while one of the terrorists blew himself up, on which the Additional SHOs who were present there were martyred. The second suicide bomber escaped and was arrested by security forces after a search operation.
According to Khyber Police spokesman, there was an explosion in Ali Masjid, as soon as the police and rescue teams were informed, they reached the spot.
IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the suspect tried to enter the empty mosque, when the Additional SHO stopped him, he blew himself up.
