Karachi: The highest rainfall in Shahr Quaid was recorded in Surjani Town with 100 mm.
The Meteorological Department has released the data of rainfall in Karachi during the last 24 hours.
58 mm of rain was recorded in Saadi Town, 54 in Gulshan-e Mimar, 52 in University Road, 51 in North Karachi, 43 in Orangi Town, 31 in Jinnah Terminal, 24 in Gulshan-e Hadid and 23 mm in Old Airport.
The rain that started last night continued intermittently in the morning. There was light rain in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Bahadurabad, Muhammad Ali Society and surrounding areas.
Due to continuous heavy rain, the low-lying areas of the city were flooded, while the rain drains were filled and water stood on the main highways, due to which the people are facing problems.
