The Punjab Censor Board allowed the release of the film on July 20. The distributor informed the cinema management about this permission, but the next day it was decided to stop the screening of the film.
The culture department issued a circular to stop the screening of the film, but the cinema management was not informed.
The general manager of Lahore’s biggest cinema said that the film was screened on Friday. Without informing them, the district administration sealed one of their cinemas on Saturday.
