Bahawalpur: DPO Bahawalpur Abbas Shah has challenged the allegations of Islamia University and has said that they are ready to investigate the drug scandal at the court level as well, no bogus case has been made against anyone by the police, there are 113 drug-related students studying in the university.
According to Express News, the big statement of DPO Bahawalpur Abbas Shah about the Islamia University Bahawalpur drug and sex scandal has come out.
In his statement, the DPO (District Police Officer) has said that there is no bias towards any institution, whether it is judicial, divisional or provincial level investigation, there are 113 students with drug records in the university, our target is drug peddling and its users, not the university, they should be exposed to remedy such things.

Abbas Shah said that there is a need to ensure the safety of the students in the institution, those who have been caught could not claim that the police filed a bogus case, the police are not to blame for the internal contract fight of the university employees, the police are processing the items recovered from the accused, everything will be revealed when the forensic report of the mobile phones comes.
The DPO said that the police has not yet initiated the sexual harassment case, if someone comes with a complaint, we will definitely take action. After collecting the evidence, we will also take action against more names.
It should be noted that Jamia VC Athar Mehboob has described the actions of Bahawalpur police as false and baseless.
