According to Pakistan Army Public Relations Department ISPR, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir was met by General Michael Eric Corella, Commander United States (US) CENTCOM, in which matters of mutual interest, regional security situation and defense cooperation were discussed.
The parties reiterated their desire to further promote bilateral relations in all fields.
According to ISPR, the distinguished guest appreciated the achievements of the Pakistan Army in the war against terrorism and Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region.
