Jakarta: 15 people died after a boat capsized off the Indonesian island of Sula Wesi.
According to a foreign news agency, the Indonesian Search and Rescue Agency said in a statement that there were 40 people on board the boat. The boat sank on Sunday night.
Officials further say that 6 people were rescued from the sinking boat while the search for 19 missing people is on. The number of deaths is expected to increase. An investigation is underway to find out the cause of the boat sinking. In 2018, 150 people died after a boat capsized in a lake on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
