After two days of continuous rain in the Indian state of Gujarat, Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport was flooded knee-deep, the videos of which are going viral on social media and the Modi government is being severely criticized.
In videos shared by social media users, it can be seen that the runway and terminal of the airport are submerged in water.
Congress leader Deepak Khatri has shared a video of the Ahmedabad terminal on his Twitter account, in which the airport terminal can be seen submerged in water.
In the caption of his video, he criticized the Narendra Modi government and said, “This is the situation of Ahmedabad Airport, this is the situation of Gujarat after 28 years of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), this is Narendra Modi’s model state.”
Another user shared another video of Ahmedabad airport and said, “Look at Ahmedabad airport where people are going to the airport with shoes in their hands. This is Modi’s glory. You must see people walking around with shoes in their hands.”
A user shared pictures and video of water filling at Ahmedabad airport and wrote that ‘A friend has sent pictures of Ahmedabad airport. He came to Ahmedabad from 10 pm flight.
