Islamabad: Pakistan has revealed a 53% drop in foreign financing in the last financial year 2022-23.
Pakistan has received a total loan of 10 billion 88 million dollars in the last financial year 2022-23, which is twelve billion dollars less than the budget estimate of 22 billion 88 million dollars for the foreign aid budget for the last financial year.

In this regard, the statistics of the Economic Affairs Division said that there was a shortfall of 12 billion dollars in foreign aid. The report said that the Asian Development Bank gave a loan of 2.26 billion dollars, while the World Bank gave a loan of 1.80 billion dollars.
According to the Economic Division, in the last financial year 2022-23, it was estimated to receive 7 billion 67 million dollars from international financial institutions.
