In the final of the ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup, Pakistan set a target of 353 runs to India.
In the match being played at the Colombo Cricket Stadium, Yash Dil, the captain of the Indian A team, won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat.
On behalf of Pakistan, opener Saeem Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan provided a brilliant opening start of 121, but Saeem Ayub was run out by scoring 59 runs while Sahibzada Farhan was run out by scoring 65 runs.
Among the other players, Umar bin Yusuf 35, captain Mohammad Haris 2, while Qasim Akram lost a wicket without scoring any runs, in the middle order, Tayyab Tahir played an aggressive game and played an innings of 108 runs off 71 balls with the help of 12 fours and 4 sixes. A partnership of 125 runs was also established between the two players.
For India, Vyan Prag and Hengrikar took 2, 2 while Manu Sutra, Harshat Rana and Nishant Sindhu took one wicket each.
Earlier, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 60 runs in the first semi-final, while India qualified for the final after defeating Bangladesh by 51 runs in the second semi-final.

Captain Muhammad Haris, Tayyab Tahir, Saeem Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Umar bin Yusuf, Qasim Akram, Mubaser Khan, Mehran Mumtaz, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Arshad Iqbal and Sufian Moqim are included.
The Indian team is undefeated so far in the event, while the national team had to face the loss of defeat by India in the group match.
On the other hand, the Pakistani side includes players with international and PSL experience, all-rounder Muhammad Wasim Jr., captain Muhammad Haris, opener Sahibzada Farhan and fast bowler Arshad Iqbal have represented the national team at the top level.
