The government offered cheap spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) purchase to private industries.
Speaking to the media in Karachi, Federal Minister of State Mossadegh Malik said that along with big factories, small factories will also be able to buy gas.
He further said that 200 MMcfd of cheap LNG will be bought, the buyers of cheap LNG will not be able to resell.
The Minister of State also said that it is better to give subsidy directly to the farmer instead of the fertilizer sector.
He said that we brought cheap petrol to the country, 100,000 tons of Russian oil will come to Pakistan every month.
Mossadeq Malik said that on July 24 there will be an agreement to buy cheap LNG from Azerbaijan.
