Seoul: North Korea fired several cruise missiles during the new test.
South Korea’s Chief of Army Staff said in a statement that North Korea fired cruise missiles west of the Korean Peninsula towards the sea. They are in contact with the US about new tests. Earlier, North Korea had fired two short-range missiles on Wednesday. The missile test was conducted from the outskirts of the capital Pyongyang.
On the other hand, the American nuclear submarine has reached the coastal city of Busan, South Korea. North Korea’s new missile tests are being seen as a protest against the arrival of a US nuclear submarine in the region.
