Lahore: The Punjab Censor Board has stopped the release of the Hollywood movie ‘Barbie’ in theaters across the province due to some objectionable content.
The movie ‘Barbie’ is being released worldwide from July 21 and Hollywood’s beautiful actress Margot Robbie is playing the role of ‘Barbie’ in it.
Secretary Information and Culture Punjab Ali Nawaz Malik clarified that no ban has been imposed on the film ‘Barbie’ throughout Punjab, but its exhibition is currently not being allowed, a meeting of the review committee for the film will be called soon.
Earlier, the film ‘Joyland’ was similarly banned, which was cleared by the National Censor Board after the government ordered a review, but it remained banned in Punjab.
