Karachi: In Manghopir, the husband along with his brothers cut off his wife’s nose in the name of honor, the police registered a case on the complaint of the woman’s father and arrested the accused husband.
In this regard, the plaintiff has given a statement to the police that daughter Zahida’s brother-in-law called and informed that we have finished Ayub’s work and cut off your daughter’s nose on the charge of fraud.
According to the plaintiff case, when he immediately reached his daughter’s house in Manghopir Gulabad Goth, the daughter was covering her face with a sheet and she told me that my husband Ismail and Dewar Luqman caught me and beat me and the third brother cut my nose with a knife.
According to the daughter, the in-laws alleged that I had an illicit relationship with Ayub, but I told them that I had nothing to do with Ayub, but they did not listen to me and cut off my nose.
The plaintiff’s case said that during this time the daughter’s brother-in-law Luqman wrapped the part of the daughter’s cut nose in a paper, after which they fled from the spot.
The police registered a case on the plaintiff’s statement and arrested the husband of the victim, Zahida, Ismail, while the police are conducting raids in search of other accused.
