Senior Bollywood actor Kamal Haasan says that he did not like Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s blockbuster film Sholay.
He made this revelation in the presence of Amitabh Bachchan. While addressing a press conference on the sidelines of Comic Con in San Diego, he said that he was the assistant director of the film Sholay, but despite that, when I saw the film, I couldn’t sleep that night.
He said that I hated this film and its makers. Although I was privileged to work with great filmmakers, this was my reaction to the film.
He expressed special gratitude to Amitabh Bachchan on this occasion, he said that as a technician I could not sleep that night and Amitji did many such films.
Kamal Haasan said, Amit ji has said great things about my films which I could not even imagine.
Talking about the unique quality of Indian cinema, Kamal Haasan said that the most important thing is that filmmakers put their lives in our cinema and we make movies and make stars. He appreciated the work of Amitabh Bachchan Prabhas and other actors.
It may be noted that Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are working together in Nag Ashwin’s science fiction film Kalki 2898-AD, which was earlier known as Project K.
The film’s teaser was released on Friday on the sidelines of the Grand San Diego Comic Con, with Prabhas and Rana Daggubati among the other lead stars. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan Vircholi participated in this press conference.
