Karachi: Drop scene of extortion of 5 crores from well-known businessman Azhar Hasan, CIA Cantt Police arrested the suspect who demanded extortion.
The arrested accused Iqbal alias Shehzad turned out to be the half brother of well-known businessman Azhar Hasan, the accused kept threatening to kill the entire family of the plaintiff for not paying extortion by letter.
SSP Captain (retd) Liaqat Ali Malik gave the task of arresting the accused to DSPCIA Cantt Chaudhry Faisal Sharif. DSPCIA Kent said that the accused was arrested in a short time with the help of modern technology.
SSPCIA said that protection of life and property of citizens is the top priority of CIA police.
SSP Captain (retd) Liaqat Ali Malik awarded certificates of merit and appreciation to DSPCIA Kent and his team. SSP Captain (retd) Liaqat Ali Malik said that with the help of Police Prosecution Partnership, the accused will be severely punished.
