A famous think tank in Turkey organized a panel on the solution of the Kashmir issue

A panel on the solution of the Kashmir issue was organized at the famous think tank Strategic Thinking Institute (SDE) of Turkey.

On the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day, a panel titled ‘Jammu and Kashmir conflict in search of present’ was organized by Strategic Thinking Institute in Ankara, capital of Turkey.

Kashmir Exploitation Day is observed across the world on August 5 against India’s illegal occupation.

On this occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan in Turkey Dr. Yusuf Junaid, President of SDE Dr. Guroy Alper, Co-ordinator of Domestic Policy of SDE Prof. Tawfiq Erdeem, President of SDE Sinan Tavukcho and Gyuk Barak Durmaz addressed the panel.

Highlighting the legal, political, security and historical dimensions of the Kashmir conflict, the speakers demanded an immediate end to human rights violations by the Indian occupation forces in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr. Givroy Alper referred to the illegal Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir as the most militant region in the world.

He further said that the atrocities committed by the Indian security forces on Kashmir and the denial of the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people to self-determination reflect the imperialist ambitions of India.

On this occasion, Ambassador Nauman Hazar said that Kashmir is an important issue for Pakistan as well as Turkey.

Pakistani Ambassador Dr. Yusuf Junaid said that Jammu and Kashmir is the main conflict between India and Pakistan and it is having negative effects on the region and the world in general, so it is necessary to resolve this long-standing conflict peacefully in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

He mentioned the serious situation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir and highlighted the violations of human rights by the Indian occupying forces in the occupied areas with complete impunity.

He said that more than 4.2 million illegal resident certificates have been issued to non-Kashmiris to destroy the Kashmiri identity, and the human rights violations of journalists have increased tremendously.

Dr. Yusuf Junaid also thanked Turkey for supporting Pakistan’s position on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute on international platforms.

Various participants emphasized the importance of working together and using forums like OIC and UN to solve the problem of Muslims including Occupied Kashmir.

Educationists, civil society, media took great interest in this event.

After the panel discussion, the attendees asked questions from the Ambassador of Pakistan and the panelists and got information about the latest situation in Kashmir.

Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Yusuf Junaid answered the questions of the audience with a big smile and informed the audience about all aspects of Occupied Kashmir.
