There is one such member of Indian assembly who is said to be the richest but he refuses to consider himself rich.
Member of the Legislative Assembly and Deputy Chief Minister of the Indian state of Karnataka DK Shwakumar has assets of more than 1400 crores, which he also admits.
In this regard, Shwakumar says that he has invested a lot of time in accumulating his wealth.
At the same time, he refuses to consider himself the richest MLA and says that “I am not rich, but I am not poor either.”
According to Indian media reports, the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka has assets of 1,413 crores, which makes him the richest member of the assembly in India.
