Famous Pakistani TV actress, host and doctor Shaista Lodhi has revealed that whenever she goes shopping, people mistake her for her son’s girlfriend.
Shaista Lodhi recently gave an interview to a digital platform, YouTube channel, during which Shaista Lodhi spoke about social evils and negative thinking spread on social media.
Shaista Lodhi revealed during an interview that whenever she goes out with her elder son, people often misunderstand that I am her son’s girlfriend or sister, some even jokingly. They say that my sons have grown up, so now I should change my dressing style.
Shaista raised the question and said that if you do not look like a mother to your children and if you have given birth to children at a young age, what is your fault in this? I get trolled by people for this too.
Shaista Lodhi, talking about the criticism on her, said that people ridicule that I have no shame! The kids are so grown up and mommy (me) is dressing like this.
Shaista told about an interesting incident that happened to her that once she was shopping with her son outside Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the person sitting at the counter pointed my son towards me and said that he should also ask his friend if he needs anything.
The actress said that I laughed a lot at that time and I clarified to the person sitting at the counter that I am not his friend but his mother.
Shaista said that we can take it both negatively and positively, but unfortunately the people of our country have such a habit that we make it a mockery.
