Karachi: The Department of Universities and Boards of the Government of Sindh has dismissed the chairman of Interboard Karachi, Dr. Saeeduddin, before the term of office and has appointed Naseem Memon, chairman of Larkana Board, as the chairman of Interboard Karachi in his place.
According to Express News, the notification of the appointment of Naseem Memon as the head of Inter Board Karachi has been issued by the Secretary Universities and Boards Mureed Rahimo.
According to the notification, Professor Naseem Memon will continue to hold this position for the next 2 years or until the appointment of a new regular chairman. Karachi Board may also suffer from ad-hocism like other boards.
It should be noted that the retired Chairman Inter Board Karachi Hyderabad Institute for Technology and Management Sciences has been appointed Rector, since it is a federal government institution, so he could not hold two positions in the province and the federation at the same time. His tenure at Inter Board Karachi was ending at the end of this year. Apart from this, changes are being made in the posts of heads in other education boards of Sindh.
