Azam Khan's missing FIR dismissed

Islamabad: Former Prime Minister’s principal secretary and PTI leader Azam Khan’s missing FIR dismissed.

According to sources, Azam Khan went missing last month on June 9, 2023, after which a missing FIR was registered in Kohsar police station on June 16 on the complaint of his nephew.

According to sources, the FIR was dropped yesterday on the request of Azam Khan as the victim told the police that he was with his friend voluntarily, voluntarily recording the statement of 164 before the magistrate.

Azam Khan’s statement was recorded by Magistrate AC Industrial Area Avid Bhatti Islamabad.

It should be noted that Azam Khan’s statement regarding the cipher is circulating in the media, government sources say that Azam Khan has expressed his regret for being involved in the cipher conspiracy by exposing it.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said in this regard that the cipher is with PTI Chairman, on which a case of Official Secrets Act should be registered against him. Reacting to the government’s claims and Azam Khan’s statement, PTI called it unsubstantiated and baseless and said that the media is being made part of the conspiracy through the trial.

Spokesman PTI said that despite the fact that he went missing on June 9 and registered a case, the police failed to recover Azam Khan and now suddenly the statement attributed to him was leaked to the media.
