Agra: After Muslims in India, tourists are now also insecure. A video of a person going to Agra being beaten with sticks has gone viral.
The incident reportedly took place in Agra’s Tajganj area, where a tourist visiting Agra’s Taj Mahal city was subjected to physical violence and criminal threats by a mob, footage of which has surfaced.
According to the Indian media report, the car of a tourist going to Agra was hit by an angry man, after which some local people chased the tourist and attacked him with sticks and rods.
In the footage, it can be seen that the tourist kept begging for forgiveness but the assailants ignored all his pleas and brutally beat him and the attack continued for several minutes.
Uttar Pradesh Police has said that instructions have been issued to Tajganj Police Station to take necessary action, on the other hand, Tajganj Police Station immediately registered a case and formed 03 teams and out of them 05 accused were detained. While efforts are on to arrest others.
