Karachi: Judicial Magistrate South has issued a bailable arrest warrant for actress Sambal Iqbal for testifying and presenting evidence in the case against the campaign on social media.
A trial was held against Nadeem Kayani and others related to campaigning on social media in front of the court of Judicial Magistrate South in Karachi City Court.
FIA officials said that Sambal Iqbal filed the complaint in 2020. Actress Sambal Iqbal is not appearing in court to testify.
The court issued a bailable arrest warrant for actress Sambal Iqbal. The court has issued an arrest warrant worth Rs 10,000 for the actress.
According to FIA, actress Sambal Iqbal filed a complaint against Nadeem Kayani and others in FIA. Nadeem Kayani has posted bail in the case.
The actress had alleged that Nadeem Kayani and others had launched a campaign against her on social media. A case was registered against Nadeem Kayani and others under the Pakistan Electronic Crime Act.
