55 whales found dead on the coast of Scotland

55 pilot whales were found dead on the sand on a beach on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland.

According to foreign media, an attempt was made to give first aid to the 15 live fish and put them back in the sea, but due to bad weather and rough shores, they failed.

So it was decided to put them to death on welfare grounds to save them from suffering.

According to foreign media, this is the first incident in the last hundred years that such a large number of whales came out of the water and died.

Pilot whales are known for their strong social bonds and bonds; if one fish is in trouble, all the others follow suit.

It is believed that one female whale washed ashore sick after giving birth, and all the others followed suit. The previous largest whale die-off in Britain was in 1927, when 126 whales died. It happened.

According to the news agencies, a team of scientists will now try to find out the reasons of their death by doing post-mortem of the fish.

Dr. Andrew, head of the post-mortem team, said that this post-mortem will be a monumental task to find out the cause of death of the fish.

He said that these fish deaths do not necessarily involve human factors that can have an impact on marine life.

The fish are now being moved to a landfill in Stornoway where they will be released back into the water after investigation.
