Eighth grade student died due to brutal torture by teachers

In India, an eighth grade student died during treatment after two teachers brutally tortured a student who did not do his homework.

The incident reportedly took place on Wednesday, July 12, in Premnagar, India. The child was admitted to the hospital after being assaulted by two school teachers, where the student succumbed to his injuries after the worst of the violence.

According to Indian media reports, the deceased student has been identified as Krishna Chauhan, who was a student of Fort View School in Gwalior.

The two accused teachers, identified as Sonu Shrivastava and Akbar Khan, have been booked under Section 304 of the IPC and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act, the local police said.

According to Gwalior CSP, the boy died during treatment after which his parents lodged a complaint against two teachers of the school, statements of parents have been recorded and investigation is on.
