In the first 15 days of this financial year, the government has released 142 billion 50 crore rupees out of the government development program of 959 billion rupees.
61 billion 26 crore rupees were released for development schemes of members of assembly. Out of which Rs 20 billion 26 crore was returned in last year’s budget, these have also been released to them.
According to the details released by the Ministry of Finance, 131 billion rupees have been released from the local development program while 11 billion 50 crore rupees have been released for external development assistance.
15% of the overall development budget was released in 15 days of the first quarter.
The Ministry of Finance says that more 69 billion 74 crore rupees will be available in the first three months.
