Islamabad: The court reserved its decision on whether the illegal marriage case against Chairman PTI is admissible or not.
District and Sessions Court Islamabad has reserved the decision regarding the admissibility or not of the petition filed against Chairman PTI in the illegal marriage case, which will be heard sometime later.
A hearing was held in front of Judicial Magistrate Qudratullah on the petition of citizen Muhammad Hanif, in which lawyer Rizwan Abbasi argued that Chairman PTI got married to Bushra Bibi during Eid. At the time of her marriage to Chairman PTI, Bushra Bibi’s Idda was not completed.
The lawyer gave arguments in the court and said that the marriage of Chairman PTI took place in Lahore but both were residing in Bani Gala. Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi spent a lot of time at Bani Gala after their first marriage. According to the law, any city between Islamabad and Lahore becomes the jurisdiction. On this occasion, the lawyer also referred to the decisions of various courts in arguments.
The petitioner’s lawyer, Rizwan Abbasi, requested to make the illegal marriage case against PTI chairman admissible, on which the court reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of the lawyer.
