Karachi: A new wave of monsoon from the Bay of Bengal will enter East Sindh on July 19, while the city is likely to experience thundershowers between July 20 and 22.
According to the statement released by the Meteorological Department, a new series of monsoon winds will enter eastern Sindh on July 19, which will gradually spread throughout Sindh.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the intensity of the system entering from the Bay of Bengal is expected to increase due to humid winds from the Arabian Sea. Under the system, there may be thundershowers in the city between July 20 and 22, while the effects of the monsoon system will cause gusty winds. And there is a possibility of wind blowing.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the city is expected to be overcast on Tuesday and Wednesday with the possibility of drizzle and light rain.
Apart from this, the districts of Kashmore, Ghotki, Nowshahroferoz, Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiari, Hyderabad, Tandwalhiar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin and Thatth are also likely to experience wind and thundershowers between July 20 and 22.
