Russia suspends implementation of Black Sea Grain Agreement According to the news agency from London, Great Britain has expressed security over the Russian decision to stop the implementation of the grain agreement.
According to the news agency, the British Foreign Ministry from London says that by unilaterally terminating the grain agreement, Russia has used food as a weapon.
The British Foreign Office said that Russia is preventing grain from reaching the needy. Russia should rejoin the grain agreement and ensure its implementation.
Don’t think of rejoining the grain deal on promises alone
Russia has said in the statement regarding rejoining the grain agreement that it will not think of rejoining the grain agreement only on promises.
From Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry says that it will consider re-joining only when concrete results of the agreement are revealed.
The Russian Foreign Ministry further said that Russia’s demands in the grain agreement have not yet been met.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that barriers to Russian food and fertilizer exports are still in place.
