The head of the National Crime Agency said that the number of sexual threats to children in the country is between 680,000 and 830,000. The number of people at risk for child sexual abuse is 10 times greater than the prison population.
He said that the availability of sexual images online increases the risk of rape incidents. The use of illegal drugs leads to an increase in various crimes.
According to Grim Bugger, 120 tons of cocaine and 40 tons of heroin are used in the UK every year. Some areas have seen a 25 percent increase in cocaine use. North Korea used cybercrime to steal funds and cryptocurrency.
He said that MI5 and anti-terrorism policing are keeping an eye on such elements. Online fraud accounts for more than 40 percent of all crimes.
According to the head of the British National Crime Agency, 75% of online fraud is committed in whole or in part by foreigners. A collective vision and cooperation from technology companies is essential to control crime.
