Mumbai: In India, the parents were sitting on a rock on the beach and the children were happily taking pictures and videos of them when a high wave swept away the woman whose horrifying video went viral.
According to Indian media, this incident took place at Bandra Bandstand in Mumbai, where there were videos and photos of a couple sitting on a stone and their children were making fun, but everything changed in the blink of an eye.
A huge wave hits and the couple drowns. The children are left screaming and the 32-year-old mother is swept away. The video of this heartbreaking scene went viral.
Eyewitnesses said that the drowning husband tried to save his wife and grabbed her saree, but Jyoti was swept away by the wave. It was almost that the husband would have drowned, but the bathers in the sea dragged him by his feet and saved him.
After an 18-hour search operation, the Coast Guard found the body of the woman.
The ill-fated family had gone to Juhu Chowpatty before having a picnic but were prevented from entering the sea due to the ban so the family changed plans and decided to head towards Bandra which turned out to be their burial place.
