Karachi: Korangi Police and Rangers conducted a joint crushing search operation in Korangi Chakragoth between Saturday and Sunday during which 8 suspects were detained.
SSP Korangi Taruq Nawaz said that the search combing operation was conducted on the information of the presence of criminal elements, during the operation, all the roads in the area were sealed and strictly guarded so that the criminal elements could not escape.
He said that during the operation, the records of the suspects were also checked through the search device, lady police searchers were also present along with a heavy contingent of police and rangers in the operation, 8 suspects were detained during the search operation, Criminal Two street criminals of record were arrested and weapons were recovered while during the search operation a stolen motorcycle was also recovered which was taken into custody by the police.
The SSP said that the operation will continue in Korangi from time to time until the criminal elements are eliminated.
