Unlike government organizations and associations, Asian Cultural Association of Pakistan is an organization where not only the art of artists is appreciated but also they are awarded with awards on an annual basis. Maintaining the traditions of the past, once again the Asian Cultural Awards ceremony was organized in Al Hamra Hall One Mall Road with the support of Lahore Arts Council.
A large number of artists and participants including caretaker provincial health minister Prof. Dr. Javed Akram, famous singer Arif Lohar, film director Safdar Malik, Javed Raza, Haseeb Pasha added to the glory of the event. Eminent compere Shakeel Zahid performed the duties as stage secretary.

The Chief Guest of the event, Provincial Health Minister of Punjab Prof. Dr. Javed Akram distributed awards to the artists along with director Al Hamra Muhammad Salim Sagar and Sohail Bukhari, renowned film director Safdar Malik and singer Arif Lohar were honored with the lifetime award, prominent fashion designer B.G. , Agha Qaiser Abbas, Iftikhar Thakur, Tahir Parvez Mehdi, Riaz Khan and other personalities were also honored with Asian awards.
The artists paid tribute to the 41-year-old selfless cultural, social and literary services of Asian Culture Association of Pakistan Syed Sohail Bukhari and demanded the Government of Pakistan to award him the Presidential Award for his services.
According to the artists, the sapling planted by Syed Sohail Bukhari four decades ago has now become a tree. Acknowledging individuals and personalities is a proof of their greatness, artists further said that giving respect to someone is the work of a big man.
Singer Saira Tahir said that the way Sohail Bukhari welcomes every aspect of life, this initiative of his is commendable. The government of Pakistan should be given pride of performance for his 41 years of selfless cultural, social and literary services. Due to the efforts of Syed Sohail Bukhari, people are motivated to do good work and this should continue.
Film director Safdar Malik said that Sohail Bukhari has a special love for the arts that he has been serving this sector for so long and encouraging artists, I think that the government of Pakistan should fully support him in this regard. should Because unless the government gives attention to this sector, it will not improve.
Singer Arif Lohar said that we do not have such platforms to encourage artists. All the artists including you know and understand what these awards mean for the excellent performance of the artists. These are the awards and honors that motivate an artist to do better. Therefore, I want Syed Sohail Bukhari to continue his efforts.
