Citizens in Sweden withdraw their decision to protest by burning Torahs and Bibles.
Ahmad Alwish, a Swedish citizen of Syrian origin, says that the purpose of the protest was to send a message to those who desecrate the Holy Quran that there are limits to freedom of expression.
The Swedish citizen said that the purpose of the protest was to raise voice against desecration of the Holy Quran and to tell those who desecrate the Holy Quran that people living in a society should respect each other’s religions.
Sweden allowed a Muslim teenager to burn a Torah and Bible in front of the Israeli embassy today, which Israel condemned.
In Sweden this year, there have been two incidents of desecration of the Holy Quran in the name of protest.
It should be noted that on June 28, an incident of desecration of the Holy Quran took place outside the mosque of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, on the day of Eid-ul-Adha.
