Karachi: The anti-narcotics force recovered 735 grams of heroin from a door closer in a parcel booked for the UK during an operation at a private courier company in the city.
According to the spokesman, action was taken at the head office of the courier company in Karachi through a secret tip, during which 735 grams of heroin was recovered from the doorknobs of the parcel sent to the UK.
According to the spokesperson of ANF, the drug was very skillfully hidden in the bodies of doorkeepers. During another operation, 12 kg of hashish was seized from a rickshaw on the main highway.
During the operation, the accused resident of Quetta was arrested, cases were registered against all the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act and further investigation was started.
