Guwahati: In India, the Hindu extremist chief minister also blamed Muslims for the increase in the prices of vegetables.
According to foreign media, the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sharma, showed insults against the Muslims and called them responsible for the high cost of vegetables.
The Chief Minister of Assam said that Muslim traders are responsible for the high cost of vegetables, who are selling vegetables at a high price. In the capital Guwahati, ‘mian traders’ are giving expensive vegetables to the people, while the prices are still low in the villages. If the Assamese traders were selling vegetables, this would not have happened. Muslims selling vegetables under the Guwahati flyover will be removed from there.
The Assamese Chief Minister spewing more venom against the Muslims said that everyone has seen how the bus movement in Guwahati city during Eid and the rush is reduced because most of the bus and cab drivers are from the Mian community.
