Seek progress report from Director General SBCA on next hearing
Karachi: The Sindh High Court ordered the SBCA to immediately stop the construction on the petition of the citizen against the illegal construction in the Karachi Admin Employees Society.
In front of a two-member bench consisting of Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry and Justice Zulfiqar Ali Sangi, a hearing was held on the citizen’s petition against legal constructions in the Karachi Admin Employees Society.
The petitioner’s lawyer Usman Farooq advocate stated that illegal constructions are going on despite the orders and notices of the court. Construction is being done by the builder without obtaining necessary permits regarding the building. A complaint was made to SBCA but no action was taken. Illegal constructions are being done by the builder in Plot No. B 172 Block 5.
During the hearing, recent photographs of the constructions were also submitted to the court.
The court ordered the SBCA to immediately stop the construction and to submit a progress report to the Director General SBCA at the next hearing.
