Jaranwala: A husband and wife died when a tree fell on a motorcycle on Satyana Road.
According to rescue sources, Muhammad Sharif along with his wife Parveen was coming from his village 29 GB towards the city when a tree suddenly fell on him near Satyana Road Chuck No. 23 GB.
As soon as the accident was reported, the rescue personnel reached the spot, but by that time Sharif had lost his life, the injured Parveen was rushed to the hospital but she too could not survive.
Eyewitnesses say that the accident happened due to the lack of cutting of sapwood trees on the road.
