Karachi: Due to deadlock between GDA and MQM, it became difficult for MQM to get the post of opposition leader.
According to the details, no member of GDA supported MQM for the opposition leader while 20 MQM members submitted the application for the opposition leader to the Speaker.
At the time of appointment of Haleem Adil Shaikh as Leader of Opposition, 59 members had signatures, MQM could get support of only 20 members to remove Haleem Adil Shaikh.
