New Delhi: As the water level in the Yamuna River rose, floodwaters entered residential areas and swept away everything in its path. After the Chief Minister’s House and the Assembly Hall, the flood relay now camped around the Supreme Court.
According to Indian media, the water level in Yamuna was 208.62 meters at 1 pm today as water is being released into the river from Hathnikund Barrage in Haryana. The current water level is still three meters above the danger mark.
All the appeals of the Chief Minister of New Delhi and the political rivals of the Modi government have been of no use and the Modi government does not seem to be willing to provide relief to the people.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is returning to the fun of his visit to France leaving the people drowning in the flood relay. After public pressure, Modi ji telephoned Home Minister Amit Shah and took a formal report.
On which the Chief Minister of New Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, protested against the release of water in the river by the BJP government at the center and demanded not to release more water in the river. However, the BJP government at the center responded that the barrage If the excess water is not released, the dam will break.
It should be remembered that in the municipal elections of New Delhi this time, the Aam Aadmi Party overthrew the 15-year rule of the BJP. Perhaps this is the reason why the Modi government is avenging its worst defeat by releasing floodwaters in Delhi.

The floodwaters reached the house of New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Assembly Hall and the Supreme Court. Official activities and normal life in the Indian capital came to a standstill.
On the other hand, due to more rains in the state of Himachal Pradesh, the Haryana barrage overflowed. Monsoon rains wreaked havoc in the hill state. Many houses collapsed and bridges were washed away.
The death toll has crossed 100 in the four-day rains across India. In Occupied Kashmir, two Indian soldiers were washed away in the flood and their bodies were found.
