The Immigration Cell of Federal Investigation Agency FIA arrested an Iranian national who was trying to go to Qatar for employment on fake Pakistani travel documents while conducting an operation at Karachi Airport.
During the inspection of the mobile phone of the suspect named Jassim, there were also documents of Iranian citizenship in the data.
The accused was unable to provide answers regarding the residential address and family details recorded on his Pakistani travel documents.
During the investigation, it has been revealed that the accused had obtained the Pakistani travel documents allegedly with the help of a human trafficker.
After being detained, the accused has been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle of FIA for further action.
