Washington: In the US state of Florida, a 9-month-old baby died after the mother mixed the baby’s formula with fentanyl.
According to American media, this disturbing incident happened in Nassau County, Florida. The police reached the house on the information of neighbors and found the child dead. The newborn was taken to the hospital.
The post-mortem report revealed that the child’s body contained “fentile” equivalent to killing 10, allegedly mixed with milk by its mother. The mother, who is also a teenager, was arrested.
The 17-year-old mother said in the initial statement that she did not know anything about the child’s death. It is not known what happened to the child, but in the later stages of the investigation, it was said that I was tired and had administered narcotic medicine to put the child to sleep.
The mother said that at first she thought that it was cocaine, which if mixed in a small amount in the feeder, the baby would sleep and I would also rest, but it was not cocaine, but fentanyl.
Keep in mind that fentanyl is 50 times more addictive than heroin and 100 times more addictive than morphine, and the number of deaths in the United States is much higher. There are two types of fentanyl, one that is used medicinally and the other that is manufactured illegally.
Fentanyl is given for severe pain, especially in stage III cancer, but the dosage is very careful. It induces deep sleep in the patient and relieves the pain for some time.
