US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken has said that Pakistan stands with the people in difficult times.
In his statement, the US ambassador welcomed the approval of the IMF program for Pakistan and said that it is desired that Pakistan continues to work with the IMF for sustainable economic recovery.
On the other hand, American Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Bloom said that Pakistan is currently facing many economic challenges, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved Pakistan’s loan, Pakistan has to do more in this regard.
Donald Bloom said that the US is the largest investor in Pakistan, and is very optimistic about bilateral trade between the two countries.
It should be noted that a stand-by agreement of 3 billion dollars has been concluded between Pakistan and the IMF. Under the agreement, Pakistan has also received the first installment of 1 billion 20 million dollars yesterday.
