Karachi: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that 50 percent of Karachi’s population is suffering from lack of water supply.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said in a press conference that 50 percent of the population is severely affected due to lack of water supply, earlier water supply was affected in certain areas, now it is everywhere, water problem has become a headache for the people of Karachi.
Hafiz Naeem raised the question that 200 illegal hydrants are running, the water that is available is not for the people of Karachi, why?
He said that there is corruption of crores of rupees in the water system, People’s Party directly interferes in the water board, daily protests are taking place in the city for non-supply of electricity and water.
