The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) says that domestic foreign exchange reserves have increased by $9.3 million in the last week.
According to the Central Bank, foreign exchange reserves stood at 9 billion 830 million dollars as of July 7.
SBP says that the reserves of the State Bank increased by 6.13 million dollars to 5.52 billion dollars.
The deposits of commercial banks remained at 5 billion 31 million dollars after an increase of 31.7 million dollars.
The State Bank says that it has received 2 million dollars from Saudi Arabia, one from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and one billion two million dollars from the IMF.
According to the central bank, the dollars received this week will be part of the July 14 foreign exchange figures.
