The head of Russia’s intelligence agency, Sergei Naryshkin, has contacted the head of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
According to Arab media, after the coup of a private military group in Russia, there was contact between the heads of the American and Russian intelligence agencies.
Sergei Naryshkin says that he had a telephone conversation with the CIA chief last month about the situation in Ukraine, and discussed with William Burns what to do with Ukraine.
They say the CIA chief also discussed the failed June 24 coup in Russia, an hour-long conversation with William Burns that mostly focused on Ukraine.
According to Arab media, the CIA has avoided commenting on this statement by the head of the Russian intelligence agency.
